OUR STORY
Discover the Rich Heritage Behind
Our Exceptional Wine Journey
The early days of California winemaking, Sonoma attracted many Italian immigrants looking to make their mark on the CA wine industry & embark on a new life in America. They settled in Sonoma due the terrain & climate similarities to Northern Italy.
The name Prati, meaning meadow in Italian, is a nod to our Italian roots & the terrain of our vineyards in Sonoma – merging past & present.

Discover the Essence of
Our Exquisite Wine
Our 2021 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant expression of Dry Creek and Alexander Valley. The lively nose boasts aromas of blackberry, plum, and black cherry with hints of vanilla. Layers of blackberry jam, black cherry and toasted vanilla on the palate are complimented by soft notes of cedar. Beautifully balanced, this wine offers an acidic structure that holds up nicely to the abundant fruit.

The grapes were brought into the winery and gently destemmed. To extract maximum color and flavor from the grapes, pumpovers were performed three times a day and the wines were on skins for 8-10 days. The wine was then transferred to a combination of French and American oak for a period of 18 months.
